As a Repair Project Engineering you will be responsible for the introduction of engine part repair projects into operations in accordance with the agreed project plan and the allocated budget. You will coordinate all activities and aim to ensure that everything runs smoothly on quality, in budget and on time. You will lead the in industrialization of products, in close collaboration with other functions in our Operations, Process Engineering, Tool and Equipment Engineering, Shop Engineering, Machine Maintenance, and external vendors. These repair projects range from simple book repairs, where all relevant information is available to complex repairs requiring source demonstration towards the licensing/approving OEMs Your tasks
Lead and project manage repair introduction projects for PW1100G, Leap-1A/-1B PW4000 and CFM56 engines
Selecting and implementing innovative technologies ensuring future proofed capability for the existing customer fleets
Interface with the OEM for technical repair data relevant to facilitate repair introduction, make- or- buy analysis and manage interactions for source demonstrations and industrialization projects
Responsible for First Article Inspection and release to Operations
Prepare and present initial data package based on EASA Part 145 for repair decision
Provide support to Quality, Process Engineering as well as Tooling Engineering during process audit
Your Profile
Experience in leading simple and complex projects and delivering on quality, in budget and on time
Proactive, positive and flexible character with a strong execution mentality and the ability to lead and energize team
Experience in a manufacturing, operations or an engineering environment, preferably in the MRO and aerospace business or other similar manufacturing technologies
Experience in project management, lean and quality methodologies
Engineering degree (EQF Level 6 or Level 7) or equivalent experience in similar industries
Fluent in English (Level C1), German (Level B1) is an advantage
