Drive end-to-end supply chain excellence – from material planning and inventory control to logistics flows and cost optimization. Lead strategic initiatives, implement global standards, and build a high-performing team to deliver efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for managing all materials, planning, and related information flows within the plant (inbound and outbound transportation, in-plant logistics and warehousing, material requirements planning (MRP), and inventory management). Establish all processes and SOPs, maintain them, and ensure continuous optimization and execution in close collaboration with headquarters. Set up, maintain, and continuously optimize the Group Key Performance Indicator (KPI) system to monitor all related steps of the above-mentioned processes, with a strong focus on performance, quality, and cost. Own appropriate SAP parameter settings and master data definition to ensure the safeguarding and functioning of defined inventory and achievement of performance targets, in close alignment with all SCM/Logistics functions. Manage all logistics flows, from suppliers and Group locations, through in-plant logistics and outbound flows, all the way to Group locations and customers. Full responsibility for budgets related to these costs. Manage and take full responsibility for all material planning processes connected to production operations, inventory management, and lean initiatives for production optimization. Build a strong Supply Chain/Logistics team, connected with global teams worldwide, ensuring the implementation of global process standards and methodologies. Full responsibility for hiring new employees or any personnel-related measures, in alignment with functional and direct supervisors. Keep up to date with new developments and regulations in the field of logistics and supply chain management.
Skills & Experience
University degree in logistics, materials management, or supply chain management. Minimum 5–7 years of work experience in an international and globally complex environment, in supply chains and production processes Comprehensive knowledge of business processes and excellent understanding of all functions related to the Supply Chain, particularly in the field of production. Ability to work independently, flexibility, self-motivation, initiative-taking, and strong results orientation. Capability for lateral and structured thinking. Experience navigating work environments with multiple priorities and a high degree of transformation. Fluent in English, experienced in cultural diversity, and willing to travel. Strong analytical, assessment, and operational management skills based on KPIs. Familiarity with administrative applications, ERP systems, and supply chain planning systems. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills. Strong leadership and coordination abilities, with ability to impact others Strong drive for continuous improvement and best working practices.
